We are looking for a long term fosterer for one of our gorgeous cats. She is a black long haired 14 year old female. Due to her age and a digestive problem we would like to keep her as long term foster rather than adoption. Sometimes I need to ask others for a little input so here is some information about long term fostering from one of our long term fosters! “A long term fosterer is someone who will agree to look after a cat for the charity for a longer period of time. This is usually because the cat in question has some additional needs that might need the help of the charity to provide. This could be for medical, emotional or physical reasons. Being a long term fosterer is such a rewarding position. You get to help a cat settle, find a home and love again, where it might struggle to get adopted due to age or medical reasons. You get to learn the cats personality and get to help it live it’s best life once again. It’s the best of both worlds of having a cat in your space but still getting that support from the charity.
