Sylvester & Marmite
On the 22 October 2015, we were asked to provide support and advice to a lady who had recently found some kittens in East Milton Keynes. All but one (Sylvester) were friendly. At 16 weeks old it was a worry that Sylvester couldn’t be handled without a swipe or hiss often with teeth and claws included! He would stay in his crate and would refuse to come out.
We had a couple of phone calls with Tanya when she was trying to settle Sylvester into the family home and always tried to manage her expectations that perhaps Sylvester would suit a life outdoors….however a few weeks later we were delighted to receive this photo of Sylvester with his sibling Marmite.
Just goes to show what dedication, trust and patience can do.

Weekend Events & Update on our Mum in Care
We attended two fundraising events this morning in Emerson Valley and we raised £106. We’ve also received a rather lovely donation today both of which will help with the vet bills for Ava, our mum in care who is having a few health problems. We’ll update on that once we know more but suffice to say her fosterer is now having to help with feeding her kittens whilst she gets her strength back.

Festive Fun This Weekend
Well mother nature literally throe everything at us this weekend, rain, wind and it was freezing on Saturday.
All 9 of our volunteers (some featured in the picture) powered through despite the terrible weather & worked as a great team.
We have raised a mindblowing £400 this weekend which will certainly see us through to the new year meaning we can help more cats.
Also a thank you to our fellow feline friends who came and saw us at both Newport Pagnell & Westcroft & to those who have donated food and cat treats. Your support and positive feedback really kept us going this weekend x
Gizmo the Impersonator
Earlier this week we were asked to help find the owners of a male cat that had been a stray for a while in Deanshanger. The chip details were out of date but with a bit of luck and common sense we’ve traced the owner. Gizmo it appears does a very good impersonation of a “hungry stray” but then quite happily heads home for his tea. Please keep your chip details up-to-date folks.
Cats Protection asked us to help having received a report of a mum and 3 kittens living in a shed. Unfortunately they couldn’t take them so we agreed to bring them into our care this evening.
We believe we have two boys and a girl. Mum is with them and is happy and healthy we’ve called her Ava.
With the cold nights we’ve been having these little ones are lucky to be alive.
