Baby Its Cold Out There

During this week we took a call from a lady in Beachampton.  She has two kittens living in her shed which are believed to have been dumped.  Stewart went up and visited the site last night and heard the little ones charging around so a trap has been put down so hopefully we’ll have them safely indoors by this weekend.

We’ll keep you all posted but do send your heartfelt thanks and best of luck wishes to Stewart as he heads out into subzero temperatures this weekend to capture these little ones.

Update on OJ

We’ve been putting updates on OJ (now Noah) on our Cats In Care page but these photos deserve their own post!

Noah may be a shy boy but a picture can sometimes say a thousand words…..well in this case two pictures. Noah has spent the day playing with another cat and then having his belly tickled….not exactly an aggressive tom cat eh ! Won’t be long and he’ll be ready for re-homing

Amazing Donation Day!

Yesterday was officially – amazing donation day. From friends of MK Cat Rescue organising their own collections, to clients atwww.facebook.com/willowvetcentre dropping goodies off, to us receiving donations via our Wishlist. In the picture is just a small amount of what we have received.

Your donations will help cats like Reggie.

A 6 year old neutered male who until recently had a home. Now unwanted he lives on someone’s driveway but at least he is getting food and has shelter. Your donations mean that whilst we wait for a foster space or someone to offer him a home we can provide food for Reggie. So thank you x

Fab Weekend of Fundraising

This weekend was our final push to raise much needed funds to help us through the winter (if it ever arrives!) and also to start seriously looking at buying some cat pens which means we can get more cats off the streets….exciting !! So big thank you to Sue Nicholls, Nikki Houghton, Annie Parker, Stewart Calder, Carole Hallett, (me Claire Henesy yes I’m thanking myself :-)), Barbara Willis & Kath South for taking time out this weekend to volunteer at the stall and also a massive thank you to Fiona Nicholson and Rachel Webb for their kind donations. We raised just over £300.00 which is blinkin marvellous.

I know it sounds corny but together we are making a difference x
