Decorating for Christmas can be a lot of fun, but did you know that some Christmas plants can be toxic or harmful to cats? Plants such as mistletoe and holly, but also Christmas flowers such as Poinsettias and Amaryllis can cause irritation and stomach issues in cats. If you think your pet has eaten a dangerous plant, contact your vet straight away. They are likely to want to know what your pet has eaten and how much, and they may advise you to monitor for specific symptoms or to bring your pet in to be examined.
